Cast steel Globe Valve

The WCB carbon steel used in our Cast steel Globe Valve  is a carbon steel casting compliant with ASTM standards. Featuring a moderate carbon content, it combines good castability and mechanical properties, and is a universally adopted material for valves operating under medium-temperature and medium-pressure conditions in the valve industry.

The stuffing box of the Cast steel Globe Valve is fitted with flexible graphite or PTFE packing, which is filled in layers and compressed evenly to achieve bidirectional sealing of the valve stem. The mid-flange connection is sealed with a metal spiral wound gasket and fastened with high-strength bolts, ensuring zero medium leakage under high-pressure working conditions.

Suitable Media & Applications: The Cast steel Globe Valve is applicable to non-corrosive or weakly corrosive media such as water, steam, oil products and natural gas, with a recommended operating temperature range of -29℃ to 425℃. It is widely used in petroleum, chemical engineering, municipal heating and other fields.

A: Daily maintenance tips: 1. Regularly lubricate the valve stem and stuffing box with anti-rust lubricating grease to prevent jamming, rust and internal leakage. 2. Avoid long-term half-open and half-close states to reduce medium scouring wear on the valve seat. 3. For outdoor use, apply anti-rust paint on the valve body to prevent atmospheric corrosion. 4.
